Data handling with MGPS is conducted to meet regulations and provide our in house security policies, information required is listed below of show we handle your data and private, personal information (PPI)

• All information gathered on quotations is handled in our first reporting system and is only accusable to restricted members of staff, any information you class as personal/ sensitive does not have to be given upon the quotation.

• Forming quotations requires limited access to PPI which is all handled in house, no information will be given to third party (i.e suppliers) without informing the client before hand within the quotation.

• We use our online accounting software which provides security of its own accord which can be found at the supplier, accounting software processed by the company  XERO accounting.

• MGPS are a company based on software and hardware, i.e software accountancy and hardware paper engineering reports whilst on site at the premises. All hardware information is stored privately whilst in carriage and restricted access when uploaded if and when required.

Payments made over the phone and with a portable card terminal

• Deposits may be required to process your quotation and allow your job to be secured with us, this can be carried out over the phone with our terminal. Our terminal is seated inhouse and uses a secure network, information we require is the 16 digit card number, expiry date and 3 digit security code. This data will not be stored in house on our system or on paper. The numbers you provide us will be entered into the card terminal and processed by our card terminal supplier. A receipt will automatically be supplied by text message or email.

• Payment is required on completion of the job and will only be taken via our card terminal, this again can be over the phone payment on site or through contactless or chip and pin.

• Our card terminal supplier is CLOVER, all information required about the supplier can be found at their website.
